Simon's Other Foot series

I just finished re-reading Simon's Other Foot series and I remember someone wrote another Foot series where one of Simon's Chapters left off and Justin left New York and the townhouse, never to be seen again and Brian tries to find him. When Brian finds him , he's in a wheelchair and Steve ends up being a jerk and the men break up. I looked in all the usual tags , hurt, down a well, Brian and other, Justin runs away, but no Justin in a wheelchair. Does anyone remember this one?

Just found! Thank you Thank You! Its Falling Down The Primrose Path.

yeah, i just skimmed through a few chapters and it was enough to get the subtle STEVE'S BRIAN'S ONE TRUE SOUL MATE AND LOVE OF HIS LIFE message. it seemed like a fic more about rubbing it in justin's face & making him miserable than anything else. definitely not my cup of tea.

to be honest, based on what i could piece together by skimming, i didn't even want brian and justin to get to a good place. i despised the fic's version of brian and wanted justin to catch a break, move on and never, ever run into him and his "soul mate & love of his life" again. the author did a marvelous job making a point that brian was was really not that into justin and that he was at his happiest with the OMC. he made it impossible for the "good place" for brian and justin to be even remotely satisfying (to me at least, but as i said, i skimmed).

the overall impression i got was that the author didn't much care for justin and kept him around just to make him miserable and assert how much of a distant second choice he was. not really a b/j fic, imo.

I just can't read stories like that. Fanfic-Brian & Justin are my Emotional Comfort Food.

Comfort food should *never* make you unhappy! ;-)

I'm just skimming through myself and I just have to say that I agree with both you and Inboots. Stories that do otherwise should come with severe warnings.
