Brian/Justin after the bashing - Justin is thought to be "damaged" by the gang
The post below about autistic!Justin reminded me of a fic that I now can't find because I can't remember even a hint of the title or author.
The story is set during (?) and post bashing. I can't remember if Brian and Justin had pre-bashing canon history. I think that "the gang" have at least some idea of who Justin is.
They assume that Justin has a severe, debilitating, permanent injury from the bashing and when they find out that Brian is together with Justin they think he's taking advantage and that it's sick and twisted.
Mind you, this is all assumptions because none of them have actually been to see Justin after the bashing.
They start a smear campagin and I think Melanie even got some article published about how Brian Kinney is not a stand up businessman but a child molester, or something to that effect.
When Justin has a showdown with them and really chews them out they are all shocked that he can even speak...
