LOOKING FOR: Brian and Justin go on vacation.....

Hi all. :)

I'm trying to find a fic, where Justin and Brian go on a vacation together. They go to a tropical place & stay in a house, as opposed to a hotel/resort, that's owned by a nice older couple. During the trip: Justin gets sun poisoning, Brian goes swimming and gets caught in a rip tide I believe and almost drowns(he also winds up with scrapes and such on his legs and/or feet while trying to get back to shore), they go to a volcano and Brian's sandals almost melt on his feet, and at some point, when Brian goes to take a picture of them with the owners of the house they're staying in, Brian is backing up and trips over a tree root, seriously messing up his foot/leg.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? :-/

I have to take the opportunity to pimp one of my all-time fave series ever (and one of the first dozen or so I happened across in my online rambling after finding out something such as fanfic even existed lol), [livejournal.com profile] quinn222's incredibly creative and brill epistolic fiction: Correspondence (http://www.kinnetik.org/corr/index.htm), Adventures (http://www.kinnetik.org/adventures/index.htm), Interlude (http://www.kinnetik.org/int/index.htm), and Changes (http://www.kinnetik.org/changes/index.htm).

There are a few vacations in Correspondence, Adventures is a year-long around the world trip, and there are vacations in the other two, as well. Besides, you'll be so hooked, you won't care if it's not all vacation!fic. ;) I suggest you not only eat these up with a spoon, but do yourself the favor of saving each and every jpeg to your hard drive. I'm not kidding when I say I return to this fic over and over.

And don't forget Summer! That's about them at the vacation house in the Hamptons. I think that all but the last 10 installments are at the Kinnetik.org site, and the rest is at Quinn's LJ.

Thank you. I'm just on INTERLUDE now & would hate to not be able to find the whole story of SUMMER when I finish reading CHANGES. :(

And I've not seen any SUMMER listing/tags on her LJ. :-/ :(

You've finished Adventures already? lol You really are eating them up with a spoon! Just like I did. Aren't they fantastic? I checked the date of Summer on the web link and then went to her LJ's Archive to look for futher entries. Only the final entry, #76, is unposted. I'm sure that was just an oversight, but I don't know why that one's not linked on her Sidebar.

I read 'em all, but SUMMER ends with #76 and is there no more? Cos it leaves it wide open for more. :-/ Like maybe what it's like for them to have Gus living with them for those 6 months? And I read them all on the kinnetik.org website.

Yes, it does leave it all open to continue and she started Fall, but only posted a few entries and then made a post saying that she didn't have anywhere to go with the series. they are happy, successful, in a long-term relationship that's going to last and she should've stopped the series after Changes. She wasn't quite ready to let them go at that point, but felt she was really forcing things to get Summer up and Fall just wasn't going to make it, so she pulled those posts down. I understood her reasoning, but I sure hated to see it stop.

LOVED THE FIRST ONE AND AM JUST STARTING "ADVENTURES" NOW! THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH AND I WILL MOST LIKELY BE GOING BACK AND SAVING ALL THE PIX LATER. :D
