Gladiator / War stories

Hello folks!

I scrolled through the tag list and some of the previous requests but I couldn't find anything like this.

Are there any stories that take place during war? (I checked the civil war tag, yes, but I was more hoping for some WWII stories if they exist).

Also I was wondering whether there are any stories where Brian's a gladiator and Justin, well, something else (from upper class or something like that).

I'd really appreciate if you can recommend me some stories. Thank you in advance!

Hey Lee,

You are just too quick. I was going to correct that WW11 error, but I'm sure she knows what I mean, LOL.

I was just thinking that maybe you could add Gladiator fic to you to do list? =D I don't know no one had thought of it before.

Oops! I see another error. Between The Crosses is also Sapphire's. That is a must read.

I was trolling, reading and saw the post and had to glee over it. LOL. And now you're stuck with World War numero 11. Jesus, i hope two were enough. rofl.

No way, gladiators...damn, I can hardly remember any history lessons in Ancient Rome and Greece so better I don't sully European history. lol. And the rest of the plot bunnies I have waiting on the back burner are already rabies infected...yiiiiiiikes.

Oh that's right...Glory (excellent thinking love4movies)is good and kind of close enough when you think about it.

Sure is! It's all just yuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuum. Okay, I need to PM you and stop trolling around and slacking, lols.

For the sake of simplicity, here's a link to both of my WWII stories (they're a series): The Lark Series (http://www.livejournal.com/tools/memories.bml?user=sapphire_3&keyword=The%20Lark%20Series&filter=all).

"The Lark Still Bravely Singing" is completed and unlocked. The sequel, "Between the Crosses", is a WIP, but is almost complete. The latter is f-locked after Chapter 1, but I'd be more than happy to add anyone who wants to read it.
