Finally official, I guess.

is it too late to ask for my money back? I say that in jest. I know it's gone. :-(

[identity profile] kika-k.livejournal.com 2012-04-14 06:12 pm (UTC)(link)
Nooooooo! :(

[identity profile] elvenfixation.livejournal.com 2012-04-14 06:17 pm (UTC)(link)
...and everyone thought I was a terrible cynic when I said about three years ago, it was unlikely to come back.

It's a fact, when a site dissapears for over six months the chances of it ever coming back start getting dimmer and dimmer. It is too bad, I always loved that site way more than Midnight Whispers...so many stories I wanted to save and didn't...now I'm really depressed.

[identity profile] galeandrandy.livejournal.com 2012-04-14 06:43 pm (UTC)(link)
I wonder what that thief would have to say now. No doubt she would try to tel us that is the server problem too.

[identity profile] perbgalcong.livejournal.com 2012-04-14 07:05 pm (UTC)(link)
Задумался.

[identity profile] josieb1.livejournal.com 2012-04-14 07:14 pm (UTC)(link)
I loved that site....it's where I first discovered QAF fan fic.

[identity profile] marysunshine104.livejournal.com 2012-04-14 10:21 pm (UTC)(link)
Me too.

[identity profile] vlredreign.livejournal.com 2012-04-14 08:12 pm (UTC)(link)
ROTFLMAO

But noooo, I was a bitch for calling her on her shit.

According to WHOIS for bjfic.net, it's owned by some French website, but is maintained by someone in New Hampshire. The domain name will expire in July of this year. It looks like you can put the name on hold if someone already owns it and if that person doesn't register it again, you can buy it!

[identity profile] highd.livejournal.com 2012-04-14 08:47 pm (UTC)(link)
I believe that is where Cael lives. I worked near by there when I lived in New Hampshire and recall her mentioning living there.

This is one weird situation.

[identity profile] lougenessis.livejournal.com 2012-04-14 09:53 pm (UTC)(link)
OMG!!! WHAT'S THAT PEEKING OUT THAT ZIPPER?

[identity profile] lougenessis.livejournal.com 2012-04-15 02:17 am (UTC)(link)
yeeeeez Thanks for telling me

[identity profile] sarahj2222.livejournal.com 2012-04-15 03:33 am (UTC)(link)
Where are all the stories? How does this happen?

[identity profile] masterglory.livejournal.com 2012-04-15 07:24 am (UTC)(link)
Frankly I've lost any hope a lot of time ago....cael has teased AND fooled us so many times that I can't even start to say HOW mad and disappointed I've been:(

BUT on a positive note *grin* I think in time most of bjfic.net stories has been found and uploaded on this amazing comm:) and I believe in time people will find ALL of them.

Take this "dear" cael and put it when the sun doesn't shines, and...oh fuck you to have stolen money AND our precious time to follow your lies, as you can see Karma is a bitch, heheheh;)))))

[identity profile] celia311.livejournal.com 2012-04-15 08:23 am (UTC)(link)
I'm not surprised. BUT... exactly how much money did she get?! Fandom can be very generous when it wants to help so I imagine she got quite a lot... does anyone know?

[identity profile] spike7451.livejournal.com 2012-04-15 09:31 am (UTC)(link)
Not really that unexpected. What annoys me is that she has gotten away with my, and others, money!! I do hate being taken for a sucker.

[identity profile] sakesushimaki.livejournal.com 2012-04-15 02:29 pm (UTC)(link)
BUT YOU ALL DON'T UNDERSTAND! It's not her fault! It's the server's! And the basement mold's! And the high-fructose corn syrup's!

You gotta appreciate the irony, though. Smut is what we all wanted, no? Granted, we wanted our beloved boys to be sexing it up in Mr. Kinney's office and not some rl dude discussing bondage meta while securing parts of his anatomy with bike locks.

But oh, that's just how it is, kids! You can't have everything. Now stop hating! You're all haters*!

*judgment based on the fact that the average 1 out of 30 comments at [livejournal.com profile] bjficsite is posted anon, so clearly everyone is a spineless hater, which is an issue that needs to be made the main focus in each semiannual update

[identity profile] rinmonsterer.livejournal.com 2012-04-15 05:48 pm (UTC)(link)
You're just as judgemental as I'd expect from someone who ships evil!Ethan/evil!Michael :{

[identity profile] vlredreign.livejournal.com 2012-04-16 02:11 am (UTC)(link)
*spits chips everywhere*

ILUSFM right now.

High fructose corn syrup!?! REALLY!?!?

Yeah, the irony of the redirect is...dude, you cannot make that shit up!!!

Oh, and I stated my thoughts logged in and bold as brass balls. As I always do. :)

[identity profile] sakesushimaki.livejournal.com 2012-04-16 04:46 pm (UTC)(link)
<3

Yesss, I followed the threads and comments at [livejournal.com profile] bjficsite with great interest and appreciated your brass-ball work! There was some serious brainfuckery going on over there. And it was very frustrating to watch how not even the most valid of points made any difference. For the longest time I was one of those who hoped against hope, but at some point the whole production just became ridiculous and kind of hilarious. This bondage blog bznz was just the cherry on top.

The high-fructose corn syrup is a convenient culprit, don't you think? Reading the occasional article on nutrition, it seems like every fricken disease of the world can somehow be linked to it. Who knows, aybe even the basement mold? ;)

cael's nightmares tbh

Oh no :(( I remember spending endless hours months there!

quoting a master: why were we still doing this if we knew it was never gonna work? :( I was used to the idea it was gone but it's sad, it meant a lot to me at one point of my life
