You are right of course. I haven't read it so far, but I scanned through it. It appears Brian is a time traveller who saves Justin during several incidents in the past. Starts with Craig and Jennifer on the way to the hospital for Justin's birth.

I don't know if they are the same author, the one I have begins:
"I try to exercise caution when my gaydar goes off; I’ve had a couple of awkward surprises. thank you for your patience in going through all of the files to find the remaining 4 chapters.

I must admit that Julia's Happily Ever After was one of the first QAF fics I ever read and it has always been a favorite of mine.

Also, there's always someone looking for her "Dirty Dancing" fic. Which I think is up on MW. She kind of fell off the map - I don't think she's written anything in at least 2 years.
