I know i just posted and found the fic I was looking for but I need help again looking for this one fic,

Brian is at work and Mikey comes to the loft beats Justin up dumps him on the side of the road and a Dr Love someone ( don't rememeber if it is dr lovegood or not), but she finds Justin on the side of the road and she takes him and Justin don't remember who he is and he start to remember Brian and the Dr calls him and tells him she has Justin and brian is in the lloft and he don't change anything.

Really??! I just don't understand that at all. I know that fanfiction is by definition NOT the show, but you have to at least see some semblance of the character presented on the actual show to believe it. I would NEVER in a million years believe that Michael was capable of doing such an act. I'm not even a Michael fan and I don't want to read that. Do people really get enjoyment out of bashing him so thoroughly that you can't even recognize the character anymore? They might as well just call him 'Brian's friend Harry' because it's definitely not Michael from QAF.

I'm sorry to say that I can't help you find that fic, because I've never come across it in my reading.

I can't see it ever happening--EVER--either, but occasionally I'll read something that inconceivably OOC just for the cracktastic-fun of it. It's like mpreg--I can't stand it normally, but occasionally I'll indulge just for fun.

I missed your little "psst" and just asked the OP to fix the subject line. I don't think I scolded, though, lol. (I'm the nice mod! :) Thanks for looking out for us!

I don't like majorly OOC in my fics. Most of the time. I like it in crack!fic. I even wrote a Mrs. Doubtfire inspired mpreg crack!fic about Michael.

But most the time I don't like the outrageously unbelievable storylines. Some people just take the dislike of a character to extremes.

Like others, I can't see it happening. After all, Mikey is kind of a wuss. But, I like OOC and it's fun to read as an antidote to wussy Michael, long suffering Justin, and stoic Brian.

I hope people who write totally OOC stories don't stop because they can be so much fun to read and see how writers can twist the characters.

It's called fiction for a reason.

I was quite shocked by this description myself. I though, "Jesus, people there was ENOUGH drama in their lives. Give them a break!" But who am I to criticise, right?

Can I just say I laughed so hard when I read your reply. "so...yeah." So...perfect! ♥

I would never want to disparage anyone's opinion, I just wouldn't want to subject myself to reading about certain events that are that painful--or completely unbelievable! Hell, I'm open to death!fic when it's handled that beautifully. That's something I can believe in.

I also love AU, and seeing how a good writer could keep the characters we loved so much on the show in a believable light, while putting them in different circumstances. But I would believe Chris Hobbes as a good guy before I can see Michael as a bad one! LOL

Geez, there is soooo much incredible fic in this fandom, I just don't have the time to read all the ones that I absolutely ADORE! I could never find the time to read the ones that I find hard to believe. But I would never want to discourage anyone from reading what they are interested in.

Hey, I LOVE Amish!Justin!! That is AU crack for my soul, no lie. I don't mind AUs at all, as long as they're not...well, really, Amish!Justin is beyond the pale, but still. I'll also read certain anti-Michael/Lindsay/Mel fics when I'm in the mood for crack.

Can't do death fics, tho. Actually, that's not true. I love Mclachlan's apocalypse fic...the one whose title I ALWAYS get wrong, I think it's 16:1, and I've read Apollo's End, but can't do Reaper Boy. That hurt me.
