Hi Everyone,

I am looking for a fic in which Brian is on a plane heading to South America, I think! His plan crashes and the gang hears about it. There are only a few survivors. Justin is trying to get to him - they don't know who the survivors are but the gang thinks Brian didn't make it. I know this sounds vague but its all I remember. I really want to read this again so any help would be great!

You know, I kinda remember this. I'll have to think about it. I don't recall that he was going to South America on purpose, but I do recall he was on a business trip (maybe for Liberty Air) and that the plane went down around Puerto Rico? An island, anyway, I'm pretty sure. And Justin goes there on his own or is flown there once they find out that there were some survivors. Seems like Brian did something good during the rescue, too (but I might be dragging that part over from Jane's Crisis fic).

Dunno if the OP is asking for this, but one of my fics, "Trivial Pursuit" had a 'plane crash' situation similar to what you're describing. Except for the crossover from Jane's crisis fic part. :D

Yes! This is the one. And I really like it, too. I'd forgotten all the good stuff before the crash. I got confused between Panama and Puerto Rico, though, I see. :) I just skimmed over it, so I'm going to go back and reread. It's been awhile since I read this. (How's the Nano fic progressing? I am soooo hooked!)

The NANO fic is on hold this week as work has been extremely hectic. I'll work on it this weekend for sure and will try to post a new chap. ;)

There's a link to LJ's FAQ's about this particular problem on the comm's userpage, too, if you wanna have the "official" version, but basically it works like this...

Once you're in this post, and aren't stuck in a special comments section (the URL should read http://community.livejournal.com/getithere/166146.html) then there's a blue row of buttons up there,
previous post - add to memories (the little heart) - edit (the little pen) - edit tags - track - next post, and you click on the edit button, which looks like this --> . That'll take you to your initial entry and gives you the option to edit your entry.

So you scroll down to the end of your original text, write Edit: Found it! Link in the commments or something like that, press "save entry" and there you go :D
