Hiya. Um, if I'm not supposed to be doing this, please tell me so and I'll delete this post. 

Um. I'm going to have very little internet access in the days to come and I really want to read Lemon_bar's "A Thousand Beautiful Things" (+ sequel). I went to DL the file on 4shared (the docx and pdf) but my anti-virus warned me the moment I clicked on the DL link (did a bit of experimenting and it turns out that it's just 4shared that's making my anti-virus a bit crazy, or the ads in particular). Needless to say, I'm very wary (aka, paranoid) about DLing anything from there for the time being.  I'd seriously appreciate it if someone who has the file(s) would be able to send me a copy. Really appreciate it. 

On another note, I've been reading a lot of canon-compliant B/J fics lately and am in a real mood for AUs where B and J meet under entirely different circumstances. I only ask that any recs be well-written and B+J be at least marginally IC (can tolerate OOCness if plausible, though).

I can't rec these AU's more. Building Blocks and Soaring especially. They are in character, with an understandable softening of Brian. You'll understand when you read them.

You should try Gaedhal's "Medium Security" or her "The Angel Stream" (the angel stream is similar to canon, medium security is so completely AU that it takes place in a prison in 1979.)

You could find both, along with her best story (and the best story ever) Queer Theories (which takes off from canon but goes AU around early - mid season 2) at her website www.fortruthis.com/gaedhal
