In Southern Sunshine (http://www.mags-nificent.com/MSW/Collaborations/SS.htm) by Thyme and Gina, Southern boy Justin moves to Pittsburgh to live with a cousin after being kicked out for being gay. Crossdressing cousin encourages Justin to dress more ambiguously. Justin, now going by "Sunshine", is taken by some as a girl.
