Brian and Justin unhappy together, post-513

Hi all, I'm looking for a fic I really enjoyed in which Brian and Justin's relationship is falling apart. I remember it was done very subtly and poignantly and at first I thought of Stitches, but as far as I recall it's not an AU. I believe it was set post-513, probably in New York, and I think I remember a scene where they just can't say what they mean and end up having angry/awkward sex (maybe Justin was wearing a school uniform, I think I remember there being a tie?). Sorry there's not much info, I hope you can help!

Could it be "Worth the Fight"? IIRC it diverts from canon after season three and has Justin working in advertising with Brian. There's a lot of tension between them for most of the story, but I think they work it out.

I have no clue where to find it or who wrote it, sorry, but maybe it will help jog someone's memory.

Thanks for the reply. I do know and love that one, so thanks for bringing it back to my attention, but it's not the one I was thinking of. I'm fairly sure it's set in New York and I think it was a permanently abandoned WIP (although I could be wrong on both counts!).

OK, so I was reading some stuff I had saved and I can now answer my own question!

It was part 2 of Into the Ether (http://www.livejournal.com/tools/memories.bml?user=bloodyrose82&keyword=QaF%20Series%3A%20Into%20the%20Ether&filter=all) by bloodyrose82, which is itself a sequel to a post-513 series called After the End (http://www.livejournal.com/tools/memories.bml?user=bloodyrose82&keyword=QaF%20Series%3A%20After%20the%20End&filter=all). I cannot recommend these highly enough; unfortunately Into the Ether seems to be on permanent hiatus, but they are both just phenomenally good.
