If that was a joke, it was in poor taste. When a mod asks you to do something, you do it. Court asked, and now I'm telling you. Update it or the post will be deleted and you will be banned.

This is not updating your post. You need to edit your actual post, not respond to a comment. If you don't know how to do that, just ask.

When you click Comment, look up at the top of that screen. There are a bunch of links and one of them is Edit. Click Edit and you will see your original post in the posting window.

Arrow down to the end of your post and write something such as "Found. Links in the comments," or "Several links in the comments, but not the fic I'm looking for," or "Lots of links in the comments; if anyone knows of others, I'm still interested," or whatever is applicable to the results you received.

After you've typed your update, scroll to the very bottom of the screen and click Save Entry. And your post will now be updated! ;)
