getithereI remember reading this fic awhile ago,
I know that Brian helps Justin get settled into a foreign country. Brain buys a bear in leather so Justin wont miss him as much while when their not together. Justin ends up staying with an old woman, in the upstairs apartment her son used before he died. While there, he learns about her son and paints a picture in his honor that (I think) wins an award.
One memorable moment is when the old lady attacks Justin’s dad with a porcelain cat.
