Discothequey

Hi all - does anyone know what happened to [livejournal.com profile] discothequey ?? I was REALLY shocked today when I checked her page to see if she had updated anyone of her fics recently and the journal is just DELETED!

Edit: Tegan is doing just fine! She's taking a mini-LJ break for a work-related reason but will be back. And we'll be impatiently awaiting her return!

You can put many various files on the nook, but .pdfs are the easiest. (I sort of downloaded all the Lost fic and have been working my way through those.)

I'm currently making a list of what I do have. I played around with cached pages and pulled up a few things I did not have today, but the only one that I've having issues with is Particles. (Just discovered I do have The Weirdness saved, it was just in the Read folder, but no luck on Particles or the newest one that was recently posted.)

The nook definitely sounds interesting...seems like something nice to have.

Yay! When you finished the list, would you mind sharing? I tried messing with cached pages today, specifically Particles, and I couldn't get anywhere with it either. I don't get why. Makes me really upset because I love that series. Well, I love all of her stories, so not surprising.

Could you send me the file for "The Weirdness"?

I started to save Fic files after[livejournal.com profile] innerjustin deleted her account but I'm having issues with Word. It only lets me save about 25 documents before I have to purchase it and I have no money for that.

I have about 835 fics in my memories that I want to put on my "Nook" and really have no idea how I'm going to change them to .pdf files

I had to recently purchase Microsoft Office Academic Professional due to a class I was taking. (Thankfully I got it super cheap as a student discount!) However, I do know that openoffice is free (if I recall correctly one of my friend prefers it) and you can export .pdf files from that. *shrugs* It's a thought if you are interested in that route. I used to use WordPerfect because it's what came with my computer many years ago, but I'm really digging Word 2010 because I can copy and paste without having to insert pictures separately it does it all for me. <3

I started saving some fic way back when someone else deleted their journal and I panicked because there were so many works that I really enjoyed reading that were lost! I've slacked off lately because I thought I was 'safe' from having to worry about it with those that I was really following, but it appears I was wrong yet again. :(

But yes, let me double check the file and I will PM you.
