Hi all - does anyone know what happened to discothequey ?? I was REALLY shocked today when I checked her page to see if she had updated anyone of her fics recently and the journal is just DELETED!

Edit: Tegan is doing just fine! She's taking a mini-LJ break for a work-related reason but will be back. And we'll be impatiently awaiting her return!

maybe she relocated to TQL or another site? Its always a bummer when someone leaves without letting the rest of us know. She wrote some great stories and will be missed.

She had an account over at Dreamwidth under the same user name, but it hasn't been updated since mid-2009 so the most recent updates to her Particles and Branches series aren't there.

I was very surprised when I noticed her journal gone. (I'd sent her a PM a couple of days ago asking if she was okay, just because she hadn't updated in a month or so.)

I was extra worried when I saw that her Facebook page seems to have gone away, too.

Then kinwad looked and told me all her stories are gone from AO3 :( And I cried.

I'm puzzled and depressed.

This is so depressing. I was just thinking the other day about how her Branches series is my favorite QaF fic of all time, and now it may never be finished or available for re-reading ever again. T.T

Fanfiction.net and queereyes are also void of anything anymore. :( Damnit. I really, really, really loved her work. At least Everything and the IM sessions were still uploaded on her dreamwidth. :(

Wow, what a bad news to start the day with!! She is the first author that I 've read when I came in this fandom. Particles ans Something beautiful are one of my all time favotite stories.I have read them 2-3 times. I really hope that she is OK.

I got very teary as well.

I simply adored her fics & she seemed very happy when she updated last (it was the fic with baby Colin, I can;t remember the name Im so sad) so something happened & like you Im very sad.

This is really depressing. Discothequey is a brilliant writer. Her Lost fic and Branches are two of my favorite BJ stories. Does anyone have a copy of either of them or know where I could find them? It's sad to think that they're gone now.

This just completely sucks. :( But I somehow had a feeling something wasn't right since she hadn't updated in forever. I REALLY hope she's just done with the fandom and writing and that nothing has happened to her or anyone in her family. I know she had some health issues herself and a family member as well, so I sincerely hope everything is okay! It's horribly sad to see her go, she was my favorite writer hands down and I was so looking forward to more Branches, and her other stuff as well.

This is truly a sad day. :'(

Hi. I'm sorry too to see one more good writer in this fandom deleting her LJ !!! I loved her stories. For those of you who didn't have and want them: I have Something beautiful, IM Sessions and Everything(10 parts) saved in Word documents on my computer and I can send you if you pm me or, if someone tell me how, I can upload them in DL Even More Fics. I must have an Account on 4shared for that? I looked but didn't find an upload button just for download so I presume that I must log in or something.

How sad, another good author is gone from LJ. I really like her Branches and the IM Sessions and also Something beautiful. Maybe she is gone just temporary, like buckeye5 was a while ago. But it would be good to know if she is OK and if she is coming back in the future.
