fics in word doc

I recently bought an ereader and can conert fics to pdf files to put them on my reader. Does anyone know of sites or storage places where there are completed fics in one file. I acan convert single chapters but it is a real pain when there are many chapters. Thanks

Hi SF, many of the story archive sites have an option to view the fics in story view instead of chapter view, like on ATP and Midnight Whispers. You can then copy/ paste it into a Word file. There are a few free or inexpensive programs out there that will allow you to convert it into PDF. Hope this helps. :) By the way, which ereader did you get?

On Midnight Whispers, view the story, then click the printer icon on the top right of the page. It will bring up a page with all chapters viewed on the same page. It prompts immediately to print, but you can also just click "Cancel" so you can copy/paste it to Word, etc.

On ATP, there is the text "Chapter or Story"; just click on "Story", and it displays all chapters on the same page also.

Let me know if you have questions.

I recommend to download this little software:
http://www.home-eisele.de/downloader_e.php

It downloads all chapters in one file (rtf, pdf or other formats) and it works with fanfiction.net (among others).

Working with you shinny new downloader:
http://www.adultfanfiction.net/
(you should check the other compatible sites but I know this one has QAF stories)

You can download the complete story in one go at Across The Pond: http://qaf-fic.com/

Or chapter by chapter at:
http://www.mags-nificent.com/MSW/QAF.htm
http://www.queereyes.net/

When I was more active in QAF fandom, there was bjfic.net but I think it's still down for now.

And [livejournal.com profile] hollyjo12's tip about "Recover Lost Fics" is a really good idea.

If you click on any of the links under "Recover Lost Fics" section on the right of this page, it will take you to numerous files that are Word or pdf files of fics. Most of them are the older harder to find fics, but there are a ton there. It is a wonderful resource.

I don't know if this will help at all, but I was turned on(I forget who it was, but thanks)to a free site that converts word docs to PDF's. It's easy and did I mention it's free?

If you use Mozilla firefox then this is the easiest converter I ever used and I went through a lot when I first bought my Nook.Well, all the free ones anyways...I use a simple fanficdownloader (http://www.top4download.com/fanfiction-downloader/crzpjsnk.html) to get my ff.net or aff.net or other chapters together. How's your library coming to? I got about 200 or so more fiction to download to my iPad..(I upgraded from my Nook!) half of them are from bjfic.net...and I haven't read from them for a while...
