It's Only Time by Mouse

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone knows if "It's Only Time" by Mouse was ever finished? I was only able to find up to chapter 16 (and that's when everything starts to get interesting). If anyone has a updated link or maybe saved somewhere, please let me know. Also, has Mouse left the fandom? - such an awsome writer.

Thanks

Update: I believe the answer is no. Sorry.

I've already run it past Court and Sidhe. We'll see what we can come up with, and if you have any ideas, suggestions, whatever, drop us a line. I'd like it to be as inclusive as possible, and the repeat searches take up more space than you know. Go to any given tag, and you'll find the same request over and over. That's why we added so many more tags, to be as informative as possible for each request. Thing is, when people don't use the tags, we end up with yet another "Are we there yet?" request. Not saying this one is, but things like looking for Jan's fic...we got so sick of that we just added it to the profile. That's where your most commonly searched fics idea comes in. We can list all known fics of hers and that could curb the requests.

Providing people check the FAQ's. lol

Off the top of my head, I think Mouse, Rizabeau, and Jan's fics are the ones that most people ask for. I know there are a bunch more, but those are the ones that I remember coming up lately. Can't there be a post that is date for a future date, where you can compile the list, and then FAQ. That way, that post would be the first thing people read.

Personally after first joining the com, I haven't looked at the profile. I have it bookmarked so that it's linked directly to the posts and not the profile. I'm sure many do the same thing. And the links on the side are useful, but unless I'm looking at the tags I don't really pay attention to them either. With a post however, whenever I come to check if there's a new interesting entry, that would be the first post I see, and it would remind me to double check it first before posting another entry.

Except that the one thing I HATE about comms is that you can't make a future, or "sticky" post. You can only do that in personal journals.

We could maybe adjust the header to say "Check tags/FAQ before posting or be banned forever!" How about that? *eg*

Mmmm, that sucks :\ ... The whole banning thing sounds harsh, but honestly, people are not going to learn, or even care, about the rules unless they fully understand that there will be serious repercussions for breaking them.

Sadly, I see it all the time here. People that are too lazy to check the tags, just request fics that have been requested ten time before. Not long ago I read a comment from someone who was told to check the tags, who basically said there were too many tags, so rather than take a moment to check she posts here asking for others to do it for her ...

How about that link on the header that says "very important". Can you maybe make that bigger, so that it catches people's attention. And link that to the post where you'll have the fics and FAQ? Maybe even rename it so that it let's people know that they'll be able to find links to fics in there?? The way that i see it, is that we need something that not only catches people's attention, but that it makes them want to actually read it. For example, if I see a link that says, "Click here for great recs!" or something like that, you bet I'd take a look at it :P!!

Once we get something together, we'll ask Tita to fix the header for us. And yeah, we'll prolly need to make it ginormous. lol

I do like the idea of adding a fic rec blurb to it, though.
