I swear I'm not trying to be difficult because I did try to check tags under the author's name and attempted google, but I can't seem to have any luck.

I had to have started this because I made a sticky note a while ago when I had issues with my computer and needed to reformat. I just wrote down the author and title because I figured it wouldn't be 'that hard to find', but alas, it seems it is.

When clicking the LJ name given in another post, it states they are no longer registered, does this mean the fic is lost now? (Or is there a tag I missed in which a proper link was given.)

I think you'll just have to use the next post buttons for subsequent parts as I don't see a master link.

I clicked on the 'secret lives' tag next to the page q_dicted gave and you can go through with this:

You just have to click the 'Next 10 Pages' thing at the bottom of the page for the next chapters :)
