I am looking for this Parental right fic where Brian finds out the munchers aren't making Mikey give up his rights. Please Help thank you inadvance :)

There are several fics like that, and there's a fic called Parental Rights. Did you check the custody fic tags?

I've checked on the tags too, but there's not this fic.

I'm searching for it too, but it was on a site that has been closed, and the only other place I can think it was Bjfic.net...sigh, the only hope to find "Parental rights" is if someone has saved it, no problem with the author she has closed the site for personal issues, she's never said to not share her fics;)!!!!


Edit: given the fact that today I'm pretty dumb *g* I've found in my files four chapters of this fic...if someone else has the remaining two, we would have the complete fic:P

Who is the author? Because the fic Parental Rights is linked in the tags, and it was available for download. Unless there is more than one fic by that name, it is in the tags under custody. I know, I tagged it myself.

Hun, might as I try I can't remember the author, sorry...but the fic called "Parental rights" that I know has exactly the same plot requested here, the only thing I remember is that it was, besides bjfic.net, on a site called libertydiner.homestead.com....I've searched on the posts tagged "custody fics", but it doesn't seems it is there...maybe I've missed it?

Edit again: I've tried to put the site on the wayback machine, and it said "this site has been transferred to http://www.mags-nificent.com/MSW/Rena.htm", but in Rena's fics there's no traces of this fic...guh gah geh, my brain is boiling!!!!

In Rizabeau's That Happy Feeling, Brian knows that Michael hasn't given up his rights, and finds out that his were never terminated.

The fic I found with the actual title of Parental Rights is on Midnight Wwhispers, but it seems to be a fic about Mel and Linds dying. It's by mactwck and is here. (http://www.midnightwhispers.ca/viewstory.php?sid=1208&chapter=1)

Yeah, maybe she's searching for one of them, even if the amazing mactwck story is pretty recent, it was posted about one week ago, and "That happy feeling" is a masterpiece who doesn't have the main focus on the parental rights of Brian...mah, what do you think about to wait for brijusluvr25 to resolve the mystere????;)

I have six chapters of 'Parental Rights' by Rena in an MSWord file. I'm not sure it was ever completed. What I have seems to be incomplete so I don't know if it would do you much good or if it is even the story you're looking for. This story starts with the birth of Melanie and Michael's baby; the baby's name is Hannah instead of Jenny Rebecca.

The problem with the request is that it's too generic. There are several fics where Brian knows/finds out that Michael didn't give up parental rights. Not only that, but IT'S CANONICAL. We're told in S3 that Michael doesn't give up his rights, so Brian knows. So...?

Before I drive myself nuts trying to come up with possible answers to the request I have to ask... Is the fic that you have six parts of the story that ends with Gus going with Brian in the last chapter posted because he got (temporary?) custody? And Mel and Linds are all like "He (Gus) don't have any idea about what's going on"? The fic I'm thinking of have a definite unfinished feel to it.

I have Parental Rights - have for a long time - and it only goes thru Chapter 6 with the Gus reference you made. I'm pasting in the A/N that Rena stated at the very beginning of this story - this will explain all: "Author's note: I know that even if Brian was feeling this way he'd never actually react the way he is in this story, but I certainly would if I were him. And this was written back during season three. I've had it on my website for a while and decided to post it here. I don't know if I will update it or not. It's listed as not completed because I'm not sure if it is or not."

Yes. That's the one I have. It just doesn't feel finished because there is no resolution to what happens once Gus leaves with Brian. It just stops.

Yeah, this is the fic I was talking about:) I know it's not finished and probably never will be, but still is a good fic.

You have to go on the right bar, when it say "DL More Lost Fics Here",open it, and simply upload the files there, giving it the names and the author, please:)

There is no sequel. Sorry. I added that when I saved the fic on my computer because I wasn't sure if that was the end or if there were more to come. Someone in one of the comments above posted the author's note regarding the fic being finished/not finished.
