First of all, netlagd, I don't agree that you've been "shut down" when you tried to discuss fic at coffeeclub. Fic is often discussed there -- don't you remember the many months-long book club discussions? You ran one of the discussions yourself!

I will amend my comment to say that the majority of any time, other than the planned fic discussion rounds - to which the person leading the discussion had to submit the fics and the topic in advance and have it accepted, I have repeatedly been taken to task for the topic I have posted. As such I don't participate any longer.

I'm not looking for a critque group - because my personal opinion is that one person critiques and others either agree or don't.

I'm looking for a discussion group, because I am looking to find new fic.
