where are people finding new fic?

so as we all know, bjfic.net is still down

so this begs the question, where are people going to find new fic? are you going to existing archives, forums, personal journals? Livejournal? Insanejournal? Dreamwidth?

where are people posting the fic that they write?

who new/what new are people finding out there?

mods - feel free to hit me with a wet noodle and take down this post if you deem it inappropriate

Yep they do now. You have to manually change the search Rating from K->T (which is the forced default) to either ALL or M if you want them though.

Um, still not NC-17. 'M' is the equivalent of an R rated movie. Some nudity may be allowed, but no hard-core porn. You can still get your story removed for it being NC-17 there if someone decided to report your story. It's happened to lots of my old friends there.

Huh, really? I could have sworn I'd read true NC-17 (that the author rated M) on FF ... maybe I just got to it before it was pulled. Nevermind my previous comment then :)

you can post (and read) NC-17 fics on adult-fanfiction.net

what is the quality of fan fiction on either of these archives?

does FF have a lot of underage posters who cannot write a simple declarative sentence?

is the adult-fanfiction site all adult R/NC-17 or is it fiction that varies written by adults with more mature story lines?

I hate to say it, but I'm a bit picky - I hate reading wooden fic.

sincerely, I think it's mostly bad fics. Well, there ARE good stories, but you have to search =__=
