Carl Remembers Meeting Brian As A Little Kid

...this is going to be a pretty vague one, but I read this one a long time ago and all I remember is one part where Carl is in the diner and he makes a comment (to Deb...and someone else maybe,) about having met Brian a couple of times when he was little. Only it took him awhile after meeting Brian as an adult, to figure out that it was the same kid. I think he says something about realizing back then that Brian's parents were abusive and having wanted to help him, but he wasn't able to.

I know it's not much to go on, but I don't think there's that many stories of Carl meeting young Brian, so maybe someone remembers what story this was.

I think you can find it on the moonshadow tribe site. I remember this story only having a few chapters written though. The title escapes me, it could have been called Secret or something like that.

I remember this one as well,but can't put a name to it.There's also one where Carl realizes after meeting Brian that he had ahd an affair with Joan and Brian might be his son.It might be the same one but not too sure.sorry I can't be anymore helpful.

I've read the one you're referring to. I've also read one where Carl has to go to Joan's house for some reason, recognizes her and realizes Brian is really his son. No clue who wrote it, but if someone recognizes it, maybe you'd want to read it, too.

I may have to make my own post. I've responded to several posts with the same lame "i read it but have no clue but here's what happened." This is what comes from reading voraciously and not saving or categorizing anything. ;)
