Randy & Fab on a date?

I'm almost positive that I watched somewhere in a commentary that Randy and Fabrizio (Ethan) went on an actual date to get a feel for the Justin/Ethan arc. Does anyone know where I can find this piece of knowledge?

The hiatus from hell will never be forgotten!!! I am still bitter, Cowlip made me crazy. Good times.... Seriously I still love the show, not even BSG could fill the hole that QAF let in my heart.
