Searching for Fic :)

Hey, I'm new here, and was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of the kind of fic I'm looking for.

I love dark!fic, involving angsty, traumatic themes like abuse, non-con, etc. BDSM and slave!fics are also among my favorites. I'm looking for Brian-centric fics, with him as the one experiencing whatever the bad-ness is :P Any pairing is okay. Can anyone recommend any good fics that fit this description?

buckeye5 has a great in-progress Brian BDSM fic called "Making a Scene."

You're not going to find much in this fandom.

I'm originally from the Buffy/Angel 'verse where dark, torture, blood play, death fics were pretty common place. Even the Harry Potter fandom has plenty of slave fics with some serious torture scenes. Not here.

If you look in the memories section of this community you will find some tags for BSDM, but they are pretty mild.

yeah, my own searches were turning up next to nothing so i thought i'd check here... i've found a decent amount of fics involving topics like relationship abuse, rape, etc, but it seems that in 99.9% of them justin is the one who's victimized, etc... *sigh*

and yeah, i'm also originally from the buffyverse, which is probably where i developed such dark tastes :P i carried them over to the house fandom, and am now looking for anything along those lines in this fandom... so far with no success... :P

That's because for the most part, QAF fandom stays close to canon. There are some darker fics out there, but the only ones that I've seen are either rape fics, or BDSM where Brian is the dominant one. Sub!Brian would be incredibly out of character.

Someone's writing a Sub!Brian one right now. I see the banners for it on bjfic. I think the author's notes noted one time that Linds/Mel see the collar or something and now the whole family knows Justin is the dom. Or something. Sounded terribly OOC to me. Not that total Sub!Justin doesn't sound equally OOC.

I know there's the play spanking scene in the show, but that has never particularly convinced me that either of them have any desire for much beyond light bondage and/or spanking. Plum's, Vamp's, and Tricia's excellent descriptive skills notwithstanding. ;) And it's just not really my kink, you know?

There are two Brian-is-raped fics; one is

jane2005's Negation and the other is by

bloodyrose82, but I forget the title.

Ardra (have no linkage, sorry) writes some way beyond the pale, for me, BDSM fic but it's Justin who's the sub. And I wanna say Paul Plesko does, too, and I think some of it's Brian. Before Justin, maybe? I remember one with Brian and Ben hooking up at a circuit party. I know a lot of people rave about his fic, but I didn't care for it.

The reason I have a hard time with sub!Brian is because he is such a control freak. And on top of that, because of the abuse he suffered as a boy, I just can't see him letting anyone wield that kind of power over him. Some light spanking, restraints sometimes, sure. And yes, the sub in a D/s relationship holds the power, sets the tone, but again, can you see Brian doing this?

At BJfic.net there's the stories Leather Bound and Collar Bound by Elyxer.
BDSM with sub Brian. Not sure it's wild enough for you.

If you're not looking just for QAF stories, check out morgan_cian on her LJ. She writes original slave fics (mostly m/m). Her whole Texas series is very dark and contains some very graphic slave/master scenes.

Oh, well, if the poster's looking for other than QAF fic, many, many people rec Manna's "The Administration" series. You can google and find the link. Very, very long with several sequals. I know quite a number of people who've reread the whole thing multiple times.
