Searching for a long lost fic

Cross posting from my own journal...

I'm looking for a fic I read a looong time ago.

It was one chapter. Unfinished. Gale and Randy somehow fell asleep in the bed in the loft after filming, and when they woke up the world of QaF was real. So it was a real loft, there was running water in the taps, there was an elevator that led to Pittsburgh outside the door. But they were still Gale and Randy. I think.

Several people have suggested "Say My Name" by Keisha, but that one features Randy waking up and thinking he's Justin.

Anyone have ANY clue what I'm talking about? I'm starting to think I imagined the whole thing. ;)

ETA: Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] thistle90 and [livejournal.com profile] herbie_weasley, it's "Alternate" by [livejournal.com profile] dreamer__m. It's 3 chapters, and it IS unfinished.

If it makes you feel any better, even though I have no idea where to find that fic, I've definitely read it, too. You can't be imagining things if there are 2 people who've read it!

Thats it!

I wish the writer would contine this.

Maybe if we all stalk her journal asking (begging) for more? She hasn't updated in a couple of years though.
I see that I did friend her last time I read this so that I would get the latest updates....
Oh well, it look like it's one of those unfinished-forever-pick-your-own-ending fics.

I hate those kinds of fics; it's never as fun as reading an actual ending.
