i actually have a question about the site? i was trying to get on there and it wants me to electriconically sign my name and all? i have no issue about my birthday seeing as i've been 18 for 5mths now but i dont feel comfortable using my real name over the internet

As a fanfic writer, I use an alias because I don't want people to know it's me. And that's the name I use on AFF. (I don't have an issue about using my name; I just have an issue being known as someone who writes fanfic.)

But what I've discovered is that you can get into AFF by just signing a first name, so you could try that. I don't really feel like I'm cheating if it's my real first name.
