I just read "Half the World is Sleeping" for the first time. I don’t know how I missed it before, but I am very grateful to fopperies for mentioning it here. It is a powerful piece. I am in awe. Can’t think when I’ve read something so poised on such an emotional edge that kept its perfect tone and flow all the way through like this. The language, the images – just amazing. I understand her desperation for more and share the feeling! I will definitely keep both eyes on rei_of_writing
