I'm trying depsperately to find 3 fics: 1) Brian is blind and living at home with a protective and kind Joan 2) Brian is told in error by a nurse that Justin has died as a result of the bashing at the prom and goes on a journey of self-discovery (this was a WIP) 3) Brian has sex with Craig and later meets Justin and starts a serious relationship, (this was a WIP)... If anyone can give me the titles or links, I would appreciate! Thanks. FOUND IT!!Thanks to all who responded!

#2 sounds like 'Fractured Hearts' by Mistygale. It can be found here: http://www.bjfic.net/main/viewstory.php?sid=820&warning=R

Number one is Eye of the Beholder (http://www.thelibertydiner.net/Eye1.html). Or one eerily similar.

And the second has been asked for x100, so you could probably find it on LJSeek with those keywords if no one has a link. :D +, dear god, number three. What kind of freaky badfic was that? I'm interested in a link, too, now. D:

The first one is Eye of the Beholder (http://www.thelibertydiner.net/Eye1.html).
I've definitely read the second one, but no idea where! Possibly Midnight Whispers or BJFic.net...

Can you please unscreen your comments? You're making everybody post and post even though the fics have already been found.

I'm going to unscreen the ones you've already got, but I'd appreciate if you could put the screen option back to journal default. Thank you.

Don't say sorry, just change it. You click on the blue pencil on the top of the page and choose 'default' in the screen comments drop down menu.

And then, while you're at it, you edit this post please and say that the fics you were looking for were found. The single entry you posted just now saying thanks is against the rules. Which is why I am going to delete it.

And just for the record, there is absolutely NO reason whatsoever to change ANYTHING at all with the settings when you post to this comm. You just describe the fic you are looking for, and hit 'post to getithere', that's all.

Should I find another post of yours either screening your comments, or disabling them alltogether, I will ban you from this comm without notice. I am sorry, but if you aren't able to obey the rules around here, please refrain from using this comm.

And I'm aware that this is quite harsh, but you're making things a lot harder than they should be; feel free to complain about that or ask questions at seanmegansean at livejournal dot com.

Not really what I had in mind, but obviously you can do what you want/feel you have to do.

If you have a minute to see things from my perspective though, I'd appreciate you giving it a try. This is a comm with more than 770 members, and it's not always easy to make things run smoothly. Even if I wanted to, I wouldn't have the time to tell everyone in person, and in a polite manner, what the rules are. (And no, it doesn't really matter in the great scheme of things if entries are edited or not. But then, in the great scheme of things, does it really matter if we read stories about two fictional characters? )

But seriously, is it too much to ask to read the rules before posting? Isn't that what you do when you're not sure how things work? I do that all the time when I post to comms I only use twice a year. It takes two minutes.

Ah ha! There are TWO stories called Eye of the Beholder! This was driving me crazy last night because I knew I had read story #1, but the one called Eye of the Beholder I kept finding didn't match the one she was looking for. NOW it makes sense! LOL

1st one is "Eye of the Beholder" http://www.thelibertydiner.net/Eye1.html, not "Close to Home". "Close to Home" is about Brian in a wheelchair - it'sr eally good and there's 2 sequels. Here's the link: http://bjfic.net/main/viewstory.php?sid=3164&i=1.

2nd one is "Fractured Hearts" http://bjfic.net/main/viewstory.php?sid=820. Author has posted in a while but it's a really great story!

Thankfully, I've never read the 3rd one or I'd have to bleach my eyes! LOL! Sorry.
