Hi. I’m looking for two kinds of stories.

I’m just finishing season two again. And I wanted some gap-fillers for episodes 18-20, mainly about Ethan and Justin. But the other characters too. (Just not Mel and Lindsay, please. Not a fan of those two.)

My other request is probably more unusual, but here goes...

I’ve read a lot of AU’s where Justin’s a hustler and Brian saves him. Pretty much all of them end once Brian gets him off the streets, and they get together in a conventional or non-conventional way. I’d like to find a story that goes a little further.

Like them trying to build a relationship while Justin’s past and Brian’s messed up emotional issues get in the way.

Maybe someone from Justin’s past keeps coming back. Or I can just hear Mikey’s whining when he finds out, “Brian, he’s a hustler. How can you be dating a hustler...?”

And Brian saying something like, “Former hustler...and we’re not dating. I don’t do boyfriends.”

Is there an AU story remotely like this anywhere? I’ve read “Lost and Found” and “Rehab,” that’s not exactly what I’m looking for.

I haven't read it to the end, but there's some criminal action there. Though the trouble started before Justin and Brian had anything resembling a relationship.

Oh, I just remembered about New Year (http://qaf-fic.com/atp/viewstory.php?sid=623&warning=NC-17) by Rizabeau and its sequel Spring Fever (http://qaf-fic.com/atp/viewstory.php?sid=644&warning=NC-17). From what I've gathered in a few reviews, it's an AU set after ep. 202. At some point (without doubt, after much angst and drama) Brian and Justin get finally together and then have some problems, probably in Spring Fever. Be warned that it has about three million pages, but most of the fandom seems to think it's good.

ETA: of course, all the recs above are hustler fics.

Hi! This fic probably isn't what you're really looking for and maybe you've read but i liked Diary of a Manhattan boy by Noelle a lot. Justin's a hustler. It's unfinished though, unfortunately.

I know Vamphile did one where Justin was a Hustler and if was awesome and done in drabble form. I think it was called The hustler but not sure.

I did read "Out of the Shadows" a long time ago. But I don't remember all of it except for Brian saving Justin after Craig puts a hit out on him. I've also read Rizabeau's stories, which aren't really hustler fics since the "client" is Brian, but Justin doesn't know that at first. (He's blindfolded during their meetings and Brian doesn't say anything.)

Thanks, I actually just read that one yesterday. It really is amazing. I couldn't stop reading. It's probably what prompted my request.

I guess if I can't find exactly what I'm after, I'll just have to write it myself.
