request for a friend

No, I swear, it's for a friend. She wants to see the review I left for the author. Only, I can't remember the author. Or the title. It was so horrible, I repressed it. But here's what I do remember. Brian and Justin get together. They have sex. I can't recall if the condom broke or if they forgot to use one, but they go off to the clinic to get tested for HIV. And they find out that they're both fine, but the doctor wants to speak to Justin. And that's how Justin finds out he's preggers. But the most important feature of this fic that I recall is that the author posted no mpreg warning. Because Lord knows if she had, I never would've read as far into this fic as I did. *cringe* But now I need to find it. For a friend. I swear.

ETA: Found! Check Out the Guy at the Checkout. Link in comments. Thanks, [livejournal.com profile] known_anonymity! Or, er. Something. Heh.

That sounds a bit like No Regrets (http://bjfic.net/viewstory.php?sid=4377) by Draccone.

There's mpreg listed as a warning now, but if memory serves, back when that act against humanity fic was written bjfic.net didn't have mpreg as a possible warning and going by the author's summary alone, you wouldn't know.

:)

You're lucky you repressed it. I wouldn't have read it either had a warning been provided. I think you're talking about Check Out The Guy At The Checkout (http://www.bjfic.net/viewstory.php?sid=3513) by FinnFan. I'm pretty sure this is the one you're talking about because she made it clear that she purposely left out the warning, so this one stuck out in my mind.

Hey, just a quick reminder. As per the comm rules, now that you've found the fic (even if you never want to read it again, which I really can't blame you for!) could you edit your entry to say that you've found it?

Thanks!
