I'm new to the Queer as Folk fanfic world, though not new to fanfic.
I don't know where else i look so if fic searches aren't ok here just let me know and i will delete this search.
I was wondering if there were any fics with an explanation for Brians seasheel bracelet.

Also, any other recs would be loved.

He got his cowery shell bracelet in mexico. They say it on the show, during season 3 episode 304 or 305. His Initials are on the back of it.

Other than that I can only agree with highd here.
Justin returns the bracelet to Brian after his nephew stole it from him. Sometime during the Episode 304 Justin mentions that Brian got the bracelet in Mexico.
The series never showed the actual reason behind him wearing it. Huh.
