Justin asks Brian if he hated his dad when he died. Brian's response was "No, but I wanted to."

I can't believe I remember nothing else of this fic, but I'm guessing Craig was possibly sick?

No, that's not it. Brian's response (above) is pretty close to a direct quote, I think.
I liked Lucky, it's been a while since I read it.
