Thanks to someone on my flist, now I won't be able to rest until I find this story I think I read once. In it, Justin was a thief. I think he stole works of art and then sold them. Brian was a thief, too. Or a detective... I'm really not sure. :/ Any help will be appreciated. Recs of similar stories are welcome, too.

There's this one where Justin's a cat thief stealing art around Pittsburgh and Brian's his neighbor:

I have no idea if this is what you were looking for, but there seems to be some sort of theif round-robin fic going on over here (http://www.livejournal.com/users/darksylvia/295654.html). (That's part 4) It caught my eye and reminded me of this post. :)
