In the fic I'm thinking of, he hires someone to kill Justin, and there are something like two attempts in the fic. I think at the end Craig comes in person to Brian's loft. Brian's not there, just Justin. Craig and Justin are talking, and Craig says he'll kill Brian if Justin doesn't go with him.

I can shed some light on 'Out of the Shadows' if that's the one you're looking for. Craig *does* try to have Justin killed. Justin *is* in the loft alone when Craig shows up and I'm pretty sure he threatens Brian (or maybe even Gus) if Justin doesn't go with him. I honestly can't recall if there's more than one attempt on Justin's life, though. It's been a while. If this is the one you're looking for, I'm definitely thrilled that it warrants a re-read. :)

Okay. Now that I'm calm and rational...

That was the fic I was talking about, I recognized it after rereading the last few chapters but.

BUT (Dammit, a but!) I think I may have gotten another fic mixed in with it because I thought I read the fic on BJfic.net. Also, I think the first time there's an attempt on Justin's life is when he is on liberty avenue or somewhere around there at night. A car or something comes up to him one (or two?) guys go to him, and start harassing him. I think one of them pulls out a knife and and says something about messing up his wonderful face or something along those lines.

In fact, that part might be in the kimberley's fic, but I'm not sure since I skipped right to the beginning. :)

'Out of the Shadows' is on Bjfic as well, so you probably did read it there. There is also a part where someone threatens to mess up Justin's face with a knife. Even if you're thinking of two different stories, I hope you enjoy reading 'Out of the Shadows' again. It's always nice to know someone is enjoying the stories :)
