Geocaching and QaF

Hi,
Few people know this but I'm a geocacher, and hopefully, I'll attend my first event this weekend. Anyway, this kept me wondering if there is any hidden fic that as Justin [I don't really see Brian practicing it, but one never knows !] or anyone from the gang doing it.
I mean can you imagine, Justin screaming at Brian to stop the 'vette on their home in the middle of nowhere because there's a cache that he really must do right at that moment !

So, yeah, if anyone knows it, please rec :).

I had to Google the meaning of Geocacher, it sounds like a lot of fun and I'm sure it is. Sorry, I don't know of any fics like this.

I'd never heard of it and also had to Google. I am apparently a muggle lol. Thanks for the education :)

I feel like it's something Justin would actually roll his eyes at at first, but could get potentially addicted to if he tried it. I could see a teen Gus getting him into it, or Michael. Or even Daphne.

I could imagine Brian doing it in the context of a kind of angsty/romantic/cute post-513 fic, B/J living apart, Justin maybe traveling, and they communicate that way.

I've only done a brief wikipedia scan, so don't swear by anything I say, but seems to be a treasure hunt-y kind of thing. People hide boxes of whatever (mostly inexpensive items I think) in outdoor places and other people find them using GPS. Not sure how it starts. Online communities maybe? And events, according to the OP!

Anyhoo, apparently they call the people who don't know about it "muggles," borrowed from HP.

Some of them I would be afraid to touch because they really do look like possible bombs or some kind of military property! Love the clever little ones, like the bird's nest (but be prepared to be attacked by a mama bird who thinks you're taking her baby lol). Is there a version of this for the non-technologically advanced? (No GPS?)

Well, when me and my friends didn't have a gps, we used to go to google maps, and be sure we knew more or less the place, and then we would spend hours, maybe days searching the place around until we found it.. It was like playing on the very difficult mode xD

ack that sounds hilarious! Brian would HATE geocaching with the passion of a thousand burning suns. I'm involved with girl guides, so I'm around the culture, have geocached a couple times, so I know a bit of the culture and obsession ;)
oh just had an idea...to fuck with justin, brian starts some caches but just puts condoms in them or something.
