'PDF'ed Fic for Shannon Marie

So Im going through my QAF List of 'Must Rec'..(that I started in 2009)..lolx..and I now I need most of the ones i recced in PDF form because I now have a Nook..does anyone a complete file(s) of  Shannon Marie's fics? Her individual and series fics? If there is a website that has it in PDF form, can anyone point me there? I did look through the tags..and it all goes to her websites with no conversion instrument.

I can share too, by the way. Im thinking of converting all of the fics in MST to PDF..but I dont want to do it, if someone did it already and is sharing too..

i havent used epub..I think I used it on my iPad and it didnt work but PDF does.. so now, I just use PDF as a universal format for my fics..Thank you for the tip! I never knew epub could take away those pesky 2 pager split..I just use a smaller font so everything can fit. Lol..

May I ask you, what do you use to convert fics to epubs?

I'm not sure what ipad uses, but .epub is a format used by nook in general. I only suggested it because I had experiences with .pdfs not working correctly on my nook (extremely small font, varied font sizes during same page, etc).

However, Calibre is a wonderful program and what I use for converting. :) I organize all of my fics through it and converting is easy. You can download it from here: http://calibre-ebook.com/ (Plus it's free for such a great program.)

There's even some files I'll change the information for. I like title then author for my stories, but I understand that a lot of people like the authors first. You can also add tags, comments, etc to help with organization. It's great, there's also tons of tutorial videos that can help you out if you need any assistance.

You are so right. That program is a God send. I thought it was well know with Nook users, but that was an assumption apparently, LOL.

You sound like you have a lot of experience with it, Do you know why it deletes the second 'L' in a word at times?

You know, don't quote me on this, but at times I think it's the font that is used originally. Sometimes when I get .pdfs that I don't create I have that happen to me (not always, just sometimes) however, on files that I personally make myself I never seem to have the weird occurrences with the missing "l"s or missing quotation marks or having them replaced with "?" symbols.

No idea why that happens, but I wonder if that's a part of it. (I supposed it rarely happened I didn't go looking too deeply into the 'why' of the problem.)

I have an ipad for convenient internet searches but I ABSOLUTELY love my Nook for fic reading and book reading..Lolx--I have several nooks because I read different books at the same time! I have one for my HP reads, one for QAF, and one for Puckert..It seems alot but, damn people for inventing better new ones every year!! Like my newest one is Nook Simple..simple and awesome!

Thanks for the link! If you need any fics..I have some! Ive have some from all the way to bj.net..I was really fortunate to all of the fics a week before it went kaput..shew!

HOLY FUDGE...I love this program! It converted my html format of my old fics!!! I can read it in my Nook now! YAY!

:) It's amazing, you can convert a lot of files to the ones you need with ease. Although each time I turn around they update, they just keep getting better with each one. :D (And it's offered for free so such an excellent program! I donated a while back because there are others that aren't great at all but they are paid. Once I tried Calibre I never went back to those and I tend to recommend it to everyone.)

So wait you have more than one nook? You don't simply just change books and go back to others when you want? That's one of the things I love about it is because after a while if I need a break or change in pace I can simply go to a new book then come back to the other whenever I'm ready. (Or do you mean the nook apps? Because I have the nook app on my computer, my ipod, my laptop...)

Of course, I say this knowing I want to get the new nook with glowlight. I really love the e-ink, but would love to have it's own personal booklight without having to remember to pack one. <3

Like I said, they just keep inventing better Nooks! And i end up buying those! SO I just decided to separate by Fandoms so I can read a Puckurt in bed, a QAF in the car, HP while waiting anywhere..etc. Lolx..I only use Nooks (I dont like any others) for my fics so its like having several open books in different rooms. Do you remember doing that before e-readers were invented? AHAHAHA!! I sure do.

Yes! Which is why I was so happy to condense things down to just one device. LOL! Now I only have to worry about when I start working on my bookstack, I'll have to get used to carrying books around in my purse. However, the one nook it's always with me. Always. I've also started using the shelve features after months of debate to make sorting so much easier so I'm not scrolling through page after page of files.

I like their new nooks, I just prefer the e-ink to LCD screen which is why I never updated to the nook color or tablet. I stare at a LCD screen a lot so the break really gives my eyes a rest. :) However, I will upgrade at some point for the nook with glowlight, but other than that I'm good with the one I have. It's bigger than the new 'simple' ones, but I just think it gives me bigger pictures of Gale I can put on it.

..and which pictures are you putting there?..Im kidding! AHahahaha!! Absolutely agree with you there. Time is what I have right now so Im organizing through my files. It hard for to shelved my fic files though cause its a lot but its nice to see my Charlaine Harris books all pretty and straight next to my Dan Browns..Lol
