Joined sounds good. It can mean lots of things, like joined sexually, financially, emotionally...Vow and Faithful sound too...final, know what I mean? Joined doesn't have to mean permanent. Vow and Faithful suggest a finality, a commitment to monogamy, promises that must be kept.
