I'm always really sad when authors/fics are suddenly gone. Of course it is everyone's right to leave and delete his/her journal. But often this is coming from "older" authors and I'm wondering whether they are aware about the fact that they are still a very very strong and loved part of this fandom. Some probably don't know this but think they are long forgotten because there are only few or even none new comments to their stories at all.
