Brian's Car Bursts Into Flames? Justin Gets Shot?

If I remember correctly, there's a fic about Brian's car exploding or getting hit by a meteorite while Justin was apparently inside. Sound familiar to anyone? 

Also, I'm looking for a story in which Brian and Justin are in a bookstore and end up arguing. Brian buys Justin a book, which Justin then puts inside his jacket pocket and proceeds to exit the bookstore where he gets shot by a stray bullet from a robbery. He was fine, though, because the book caught the bullet. 

I'd appreciate any help you can extend. Thank you.

Thanks for the link, but it's really too bad your story (which sounds like something I'd enjoy) is locked. :-(

While I'm happy to declare that I'm of legal age (uh, and then some), I'm not willing to disclose my birth date in order to read fanfic -- or for most other non-business or unofficial reasons.

The meteorite/explosion plot, above, is intriguing. Maybe the restrictions for reading that story will be less . . . restrictive.
