B/J trial!fic
Hi! This might be a bit difficult to find since I really can't remember much...
I'm searching for a B/J fic in which there's a big part about a trial. Problem is I can't remember what the trial is about (or even what the fic is about...).
What I remember for sure is:
- this is a multi-chapter fanfic
- B/J's lawyer is a man
- I'm pretty sure this is not a custody fic... but I could be mistaken.
- I think earlier in the fic, something happens to Justin (maybe something with Chris Hobbs but this is pure speculation here) and because of that, there's a trial.
- B/J are both called to testify but Brian's past of sex, drugs and booze is a problem (and I think at first their lawyer doesn't want Brian to testify because it could do more bad than good, but eventually he'll testify).
- B/J are living together when the trial starts (though they could also be living together from the beginning of the fic, I don't know...)
- I remember a scene with Brian or Justin waiting in another room while the other is called as a witness. Then they go lunch together (their lawyer reminds them they can't talk about the trial) and return to the trial after that.
- I think at some point, Debbie is called as a witness too.
I know I have that fic saved on my computer, and I also have its name with a link and a few details about the fic saved in an excel doc but since all I can remember is that there's a trial and trial!fic isn't a detail I note... my excel doc is unfortunately no use at all :(
If you don't think of a fic that fits this, but know of fics with a trial in it, please give me the names too. It could still be very useful if I check them with my list :)
