For a comm that we have always bragged about being wank-free, welcoming, friendly, and an awesome place to hang out in, we have sure had a fucking rash of shit-stirring in the past few weeks and, quite frankly, you're adding to a glut that nobody wants to see repeated.
I find it very curious that you immediately attack another community member (mod or not) for passing along a hint about it being helpful to warn for certain topics, whether mpreg or rape or whatever as a consideration for your fellow members, and then head right into "Now I get why so many people can't stand this comm." As I said above: shit-stirring.
It's also curious that you self-righteously proclaim yourself a defender who calls out discrimination when in your LJ post from December of last year, you refer to your boss' husband as a "real retard" for not "doing as I say." Perhaps you might tidy up your own house before criticizing others.
And c'mon, get real. You can't really balance a *preference* to know if a fic is about a topic you don't want to read (or that might be triggering) with discrimination. That's just ridiculous.
And I will remind you that, as stated in the Rules, there is no bias in this community against searching for or recommending mpreg fics or any other genre. ALL searches and recommendations are welcome.
