A big AU set in ye olden days where Justin is a slave. Brian buys him after seeing how badly he's been treated, and Justin comes to work for him. Follow the link in the comment above for more!

Um, I'm not that keen on big AUs set in another time... I usually revert to original fics for that. Is it worth it? I mean, is it Brian and Justin and not just any two guys?

Uh, yessir! I will right now!

I discovered Queer As Folk only a year ago (about since I got a decent internet connection, the show's not aired on blasted Italian tv) and I'm still making my way through the older fics.

I'm not big on them, either. In fact, I think this (and her other AU's) are some of the few that I've read. It's been a long time (I thought it was missing from the 'net, too) but it's sort of THE AU of the fandom. (Check the link for her other fic too... there's another reallllly good one, but I can't recall the name...)

Heh, I understand that :) I don't think it'll be your cup of tea from the sound of things.

I think I'll try all the same. I've read the prologue and 1st chapter and I'm intrigued. Thank you!

I will surely check them out! Thank you!

Yeah, it would be damn useful for us newbies...

I started, and it sucked me in, I'm up to the 3rd ch. of the 3rd novel, I've been reading non-stop for the past 4 hours and done NOTHING of all I had to do and IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!!

*shakes fist*

:P

I finished it about an hour ago... *sobs* was really scared there for a minute... ok, more like frantically clicking "next" and skipping the description to get to the dialogue in the last chapters.

meep

It had been a while since I pulled an all-afternooner (is that even a word?) like this, uncaring of all the things I had to do.

It was wonderful. Thank you!!

I love this series. If you've never read it, it's an oldie, but a goodie.
