Is Daphne a redhead or a brunette?

I hope that this is the right place and format to pose this question (please let me know if it isn't and I shall change it accordingly).

Am writing two fanfics and I need to figure out Daphne's hair colour for both of them. I always thought that she would be classified as a redhead but my co-author pointed out that towards S3, she seems to be more of a brunette.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

UPDATE: Resolved.

I just saw S1E3 and the way her hair hits the sun it looks like its brunette with red mixed in than anything.

She naturally has dark hair, but changed it often in style & color.

All my black girl friends take issue with the blonde/brunette/red head thing.... they say its a white girl term, they have their own. Any good hair ep of Tyra will teach you them, if ever so inclined.

ROTFLMBFAO

Well, that's...news. I never had this issue...only with the spelling. Technically, yes, black women tend to refer to their hair color as brown or black instead of brunette. That's because our hair is not truly brunette. It's, for most full-blooded black women, brownish-black. Bi-racial women (in this case, black and whatever other race) would fall into a category where brunette could be used. For example, my oldest daughter has brownish-black hair. It was light brown when she was younger. My youngest has medium brown hair.

The actress who played Daphne is bi-racial. I think the hair we see in S1 is possibly her natural hair color, which seems to be a medium brown with natural auburn highlights.
