Fanfiction.net pop up problems

I rarely use FF.net but someone recommended a story called "By the Water of Babylon". It's supposed to be a spin from the actual book written by Stephen Vincent but with a QAF twist. I just started reading it, but now when I go to the chapter I'm immediately transfered to a stupid page that's adverticing food! Usually I just refresh my screen and it goes away, but no luck with that this time.

Even when I go directly to the main FF.net page, I'm still moved towards some adverticement and even if I click to go back, it doesn't work. Am I right in assuming that there's some sort of problem with their pop ups? I mean, how are we supposed to read anything if every two seconds the page is being refreshed with another pop up....

Anyways, does anyone know where I can find this story? I don't remember the author, and I was just in chapter 1 to be honest, but the whole idea of the story caught my attention, so now I would like to read it.

Thanks,

Silvia ~

Edit: Plenty of suggestions on how to solve this problem can be found in the comments. Thanks everyone :D!!!!!!!!

Was there a button that said "Skip this ad" or something similar? Because the only ads I've encountered at FF.net have it, and pushing that has always solved the problem for me. :)

That's the only one I have had as well.
I got problems with malware last week and it turned up every time that I went to save a memories here on LJ. But I downloaded a program and after a couple of sessions with that program it disappeared. It was strange that it was only that page though.

Yeah, there's one ad that keeps doing that. Drives me crazy. That's why I turn off the ads every time I go on that site. :)
