Cancer Info For Writers
I know Xie has an entry on HIV/AIDS info for fanfiction writers. Is there anyone/anything that has cancer info for fanfiction writers? I'm just wondering if I can find it in one place instead of having to sift through the internet. Thanks!

issue in one of my stories.
This is what I did.
I looked up information on treatments from doctors and the
American Cancer Society. I went to forums for testicular
cancer survivors and read their stories, which often described
their diagnoses, treatments, family reactions, and aftermath,
including the effects of radiation.
Then when I thought I knew at least enough not to screw it
up too much, I wrote the fic.
Yes, this took some work, but that's what writing is --
work -- at least if you want to get it right.
Every form of cancer has a different treatment, outcome,
and stigma attached to it. It's not a monolith.
If you're writing a story, start with the research and go
from there. There's no one spot for it all.
