oasis6028 Just announced over on moonshadow_chat that Cindy will be taking down all her fic from the internet. But we have a few days to Copy what we want. I've been making Word files of some of my favorites like Life Re Dux And Meant to Be. You can find her stuff HERE

I have everything but Small Town, but haven't gotten them uploaded yet. I will try to work on it this weekend.

The files have been saved in Word 2007 if you need a link to be able to convert the files to use with older versions of Word you can find it HERE

I can never understand why authors do this :(. I mean, would it be such a hardship to leave their fics up for future fans to read and enjoy? **tear :'( **

Anyways, my offer to host the fics up for doawnload in my Megaupload folder is still open.

I have everything saved as word files except for Small Town. That is 40 chapters and was planning on working on that one tomorrow. I need to convert them to pdf format after that. I don't think Small Town was ever finished.

It doesn't make sense to me either. She has some great stories up on her site. It will be a shame to lose them.

I have some of her stories in word file. Is it okay if I upload it to DL More Lost Fic Here? Or are there some rules about uploading? Because personally I hate things like this. It's like giving someone a candy then ask them to give it back. But that's me =). Thanks

My preference for saving fics is to copy and paste to Word, but when time is short, remember that you have the option to create a Cindy (or whomever) folder in My Documents and then go to her fics. Open a fic and then click File > Save Page As > Web Page, HTML Only and save it in the designated folder. This takes about 3 seconds vs copying and pasting, which you can always go back and do later on. Saving the webpage is just the quick and dirty way to save when time is short.

I'll try that with Small Town. That is the only one I have left. It is 40 chapters, and I think it is an abandoned WIP, but I'm not sure.

I prefer reading in pdf format. I have pdf factory on my computer and I'm going to save everything as pdf's eventually. I got started watching season one of Angel and haven't gotten back to saving fic yet.

I have everything saved except for Small Town. I still need to convert them into pdfs. and then up load them to my Megaupload site. I keep backups of all my ebooks and screen caps there for graphics.

I have a bunch of running to do this morning still but when I get back this afternoon I'm going to work on Small Town.

Maybe I can create a subfolder in my site, where only her fics will be stored. That way, when people want to read something specific of hers they don't need to search through all the other fics that I have in the general QAF folder. Do you know when she'll be erasing her fics? Beacuse I won't be able to do any saving until Monday at the latest :\...

I don't know when they are actually coming down. oasis6028(Thyme) said we had a few days. So probably sometime this weekend.

I have subfolders for all my QAF Screen Caps in Megaupload. I saved everything by season and episode. It does make it easier to find. I still have seasons 4 and 5 to finish capping.

I'm not really sure, I know that Escape and Life Redux, are done. Feelings and Emotions is also complete. Its been a long time since I've read any of her series. I've read her individuals stories quite a few times.

I was going to work on Small Town yesterday but never got the chance. Even though it is not complete I would like to have it in my collection. If your working on it now. I haven't started converting anything to pdf's yet. I'm hoping to do that this weekend.

I think silvaofhope is in charge of the data base that all lost fic is stored in here on getithere, you might want to Private Message her and see what she wants to do.

Ok, I've saved most of her stuff. I didn't tackle Small Town, and I'm missing a few of her one-shots, but what I have is already in the following folder: http://www.megaupload.com/?f=Z0BEC1BQ

The folder is solely dedicated to her stuff, this way people won't get her stories mixed up with other authors. I didn't have time to transfer anything into a pdf file, so for the moment everything is in doc files. Maybe in the future I'll go back and change to pdf, but it will have to stay this way for now :\.

I have everything in Word doc files right now, and won't get to converting for a while. RL is just to complicated right now.

I'm going to edit the post with your link. I'm not going to be able to get anything into Megaupload until late next week if even then. I have everything backed up on my external drive, but that is as far as I've been able to get.

Hi, thanks for doing this, I noticed they have been saved in Word2007 docx format, most people have older versions of word which can't open these files. Microsoft have a free download which converts the docx files into word files. You can download it here

I've got like three e-mails telling me I'm missing so-and-so story already! Her page is not up anymore, so I'm guessing she already took it down, or something >.> ...
